TR83 REGION FOREIGN TRADE SUPPORT CENTER PROTOCOL SIGNED

“TR83 Region Foreign Trade Support Center”,which have started pilot studies, as of March 2019, officially started its activities with the Protocol Signing Ceremony held in Amasya on Thursday, July 2.
Under the leadership and coordination of the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA), Foreign Trade Support Center is established in cooperation with the Amasya, Çorum, Samsun, Tokat and Bafra Chamber of Commerce and Industry. OKA Chairman of the Board of Directors Amasya Governor Dr. Osman Varol, OKA Board members and related stakeholders participated in the Protocol Signing Ceremony of the Foreign Trade Support Center.


SECTORAL SUPPORT IS PROVIDED WITH WORLDWIDE FOREIGN TRADE DATA

One of the two qualified foreign trade specialists working at the Foreign Trade Support Center operates in the OKA Samsun central service building and the other within the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Experts in Amasya, Çorum and Tokat Chambers of Commerce and Industry and OKA investment support offices also support the activities of the center by providing information and guidance.  The studies are conducted on databases that can be accessed from foreign trade data and sectoral information worldwide.


TARGET: INCREASING COMPETITIVENESS IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET

With the 2023 Turkey Foreign Trade Strategy vision, imlemented with the "TR83 Region Foreign Trade Support Center" project, it will play an important role in increasing the competitiveness of the SMEs in the TR83 Region, in order to gain a share from the international markets and supporting their progress.
Establishing a sustainable structure that will open up the enterprises in the region to the world and increase their exports with the Foreign Trade Research Center, international market research methods, international trade information resources, commercial intelligence channels, competition intelligence, technical and operational intelligence usage, statistical data that enterprises will need in this context. In addition to providing this information, consultancy services will also be provided and it is aimed to make the support mechanism continuous in every moment of the export stages of the enterprises.
The center, which is completely free of charge, is expected to increase the interaction among the institutions in the field of foreign trade in the region and contribute to the establishment of an environment of cooperation to improve and accelerate the processes.
